Brandon,
The forum performance is continuing to degrade. Can anything be done to improve response time? It is approaching the Human-Computer Interface cut-off for attention keeping.

Is the performance degrading in terms of people or software? I'd say the slow traffic in the forums bothers me more than the slow page downloads. Maybe it's August...

Neil,
I haven't noticed too much downgrade in response time as of late. It still seems to be running pretty fast, but then again I'm usually accessing it from a LAN, or when I'm external, over a T1. Fortunately, I do have some good news... The internet connection for the server hosting this site is about to get a major upgrade, effectively given me about 2 megabit upstream. Compare this to what I have now, which is about 128 kilobit upstream.... I also recently dropped a processor upgrade into the server... But I think you'll see a huge difference when the new line gets put in (in about 2 weeks)...
