I'm trying to understand how to implement my existing functionality into an mqsi node. From what I see, if I have previously developed functions in 'C'(in a *.dll) , they would necessarily be called from within the cniEvaluate() function? Also, is the Programming Guide the only source of programming info for developing plug-ins??

The MQSI Support Packs (available at www-4.ibm.com/software/ts/mqseries/txppacs/txpm4.html) are a useful source of reference (the downloads include both source and executable).

Also try the Red Book: SG24-6154 Business Integration Solutions with MQSeries Integrator.

It has a complete chapter on Developing your own plug-in.
