Hi

I’m trying to connect WMQI to an Informix UDB (via ODBC) but I’m getting the following error:

My ESQL statement:

SET Environment.Variables.z = 'SELECT A.a10200 FROM Database.pms02 AS A
WHERE A.f10212 = "FRF"';


The error message in the trace:

BIP2135E: Source character 'ff' in field
'496e666f726d6978006e744368617261ffffffff0000000000000000006b2cd8013be7080005f5b800000000000000017fa457786bc098fc000000c07fa3fde8'
cannot be converted to unicode from codepage '1208'.
The source character is an invalid code point within the given codepage.
Correct the application that generated the message.

The ODBC connection seems to be ok!

Has anyone experience in accessing an Informix DB via ODBC and can tell me what the error is?

I have experienced this problem. I had to reset to BLOB domain to be able to retrieve data which has hex'FF' in it.
