Hi,

I am planning to make a cluster configuration with 2 Repos Queue Managers on Win 2K and one Cluster Queue manager on os/390.

I want to enable the SSL Feature for Communication to happen from os/390 to Win 2K Cluster Queue Managers and normal reply(Non-SSL) to send back to os/390 from these Cluster Queue Managers of Win 2K.

I am not quite sure whether the one way SSL Communication is possible with Cluster Configuration. If so what is the configuration required?

Thanks in Advance.

Syam

Basically the way one qmgr in the cluster finds out about another is via the clusrcvr definition. Therefore once you put SSL on the clusrcvr, all qmgrs trying to talk to this qmgr will use SSL.

Now if you are happy for all comms to a specific qmgr to be SSL, then yes - set the SSL parms on the clusrcvr of that qmgr, and ensure any manual senders to that particular qmgr (if a full repos) also have the same ssl config and it will probably work.

If you want a combination of SSL and non-SSL to the same qmgr then you could use cluster workload exits and multiple clusrcvr definitions or overlapping clusters, but to sum up there is no easy solution to this.
