Our system is having a MQSeries 4.2.1 on AS/400 & a MQSeries 5.2 on WIn NT. Here is Synchronous Request/Reply Senario. There are sometime strange situation. I am sending a request from MQ on NT to MQ on AS/400 & waiting for reply from AS/400.I do get response from AS/400 to replyQ in MQ on NT but my program was not not accepting it as reply. Because the MessageID what my MQ on NT was sending is not same as Corrrelation ID waht i was getting from AS/400(if i was sending message id(....121) then i was getting(.. 122), a difference of 1. so my program was not accepting it as reply as it was waiting for message having corelation ID as ...121. if next time i will send another request previous request will get reply (as its Message ID is ...122) of last request & new one won't.
But if i stop trigger monitor & then start , it works fine..
Thanks in advance for any kind of help and advice or pointer.

Regards,
Rakesh

I don't see how the trigger monitor has anything to do with this, just coincedence I think.
Otherwise, I think your AS400 code is not correctly moving the Message_ID of the Request to the Correl_ID of the reply. Check that code and I bet you'll find something wrong there.
The MSG_ID is binary data, so the AS400 should be doing a strict move and not attempting any kind of conversion or manipulation of that field.
