In WebSphere MQ using client jar files we can create a message on the WebSphere MQ server from any computer that connected in network ..

Is there any similar concept in WMQE server ? How do i send messages from PDAs to MQE server (Every pda has to run its own Queue manager and have a connection to MQE server ??)

please help me out in what is the starting point for sending messages from PDAs to MQE server

To communicate with a WMQE Server you need a WMQE Queue Manager defined in the PDA.

The following are required to send messages:
WMQE Server:
1) A Listener defined to listen at a port (*).
2) A Local (application) Queue to receive the messages from the PDA


The PDA needs a WMQE Queue Manager with the following:
1) A connection defined (name=WMQE Server QMGR Name)
parameters=Server IP Address or hostname, Port Number (*)
2) A Remote Queue (Sync. or Async) defined, targeted at the Server local queue.

(*) Pay particular attention to the type of MQe comms. adapter used because both listener and connection needs to have the same adapter.
eg: com.ibm.mqe.adapters.MQeTcpipHistoryAdapter
