It seems that connecting to Oracle 8.0.6 isnt supported in MQSI 2.1.
Does anybody know of any way to pass this limitation?

Hi,

at least with the merant driver coming with MQSI 2.x
you are out of luck. Maybe you can try with the oracle odbc
driver instead of the merant driver. Note, however
that only 8.1.6 or 8.1.7 are supported, so I wouldnt bet
on running 8.0.x. If you run into trouble you are on your own !
If you want use MQSI in a production environment you better
upgrade your Oracle version (go to 8.1.7 directly, since 8.1.6
has some bugs we show up in conjunction with MQSI)
