Thanks for the information above - Its great to have it in such a concise form. I hope you dont mind, but I have copied it into an internal document I maintain which helps some of the support staff understand the MSCS setup. (Just in case you raise a problem and get it quoted back at you...!). Let me know if this is a problem

Sorry, no - Although I have done lots of work on the MQ MSCS portion, I mostly work from diagnostics provided from a running system, or ones I have set up here - I would not claim to be an MSCS expert by a long way.

Hi,

I would like to share more info for one of open issue As Stated but I donot really know this is the only solution provided you may find lots of solution :

==>How to implement SCSI bus in between the Primary and Secondary Node when its a Public network.

A Dell PERC 4/DC SCSI RAID controller in each server. One of
the external SCSI RAID ports from each server would then connect to each of the management (ZEMM) modules on the Dell PV220s storage system. The storage system must also be configured (by flipping a switch on the unit) to a "shared" or "joined" bus configuration. Finally, one of the nodes must have the SCSI ID on the RAID controller changed from ID7 to ID6. This allows both controllers to share access to the disks, and also to communicate with each other.

The public and private networks are two separate Ethernet networks. The
only distance limitations for this network is really the limitations of
Ethernet. Usually the limiting factor is the length of the SCSI cables from
the server to storage and in this case I believe our longest supported cable is 20 meters. Dell does not support a geographically distributed cluster using our SCSI storage systems.

Hope this helps to the team if you have similar problems

Regards,
Abiram
