Hi
I have to send data from Unix box to AS400. For this we are using MQSI for transformations, pack data etc. Can anyone point me to documentation on Packing the data in MQSI.

Thanks in advance.

I recommend you define an MRM message to model the data required for the AS400 end. Then on your compute node you will need to set the CCSID and encoding fields to match those expected by the AS400.

e.g.

SET OutputRoot.MQMD.Encoding = nnn;
SET OutputRoot.MQMD.CodedCharSetId = nnn;

The ESQL reference manual should help your here (do a search on "CodedCharSetId").
