Hi MQ Gurus,

I'm facing a peculiar issue, I have managed to successfully install MQ into Linux container however, when I try to run ikeycmd command, the execution hangs and keeps using 100% of my CPU.

Does anyone have experience with running MQ in docker Linux containers?

UPDATE:

well I guess it's not only issue with ikeycmd, but with anything related to IBM Java on Linux. Even if I start IKeyMan, or even ControlPanel from folder /opt/mqm/java/jre64/jre/bin, it just hangs and CPU starts running 100%.

Any help would be appreciated.

You do know that in order to run any of those commands you need to set up X11 forwarding and have an X11 server installed to forward the stream to...

I doubt very much X11 was set up in your container...

Hi thanks for your reply. I'll check out this X11 forwarding. I gave that only as an example.

The issue is there even with command line commands like ikeycmd, strmqm and so on...

And so on? Does this include all shell commands? Or just the MQ kind?

Does the 'top' command work? It will show CPU usage by each process.
