My management loves pictures and graphs and shiny things. LOL. They are asking if there any tools available to be able to see the layout of our MQ implementation(s).
For instance, we have many Backout Queues (BOQ), and one of them was filling up with bad messages. I was asked if there is any easy way for them to tell which primary queue was using that BOQ. And if there is more than one primary queue using a single BOQ.
Typically I would grep out the dumps provided by "dmpmqcfg -a -m $qm" to figure it out, but mgmt doesn't want any part of that. They'd like a visual representation or GUI. But I'm not aware of any tool that would display QM configs that way.
Does anyone use such a tool or utility? Not a show stopper, just a 'nice to have' for those folks. Thanks in advance.

EDIT: Unfortunately I cannot give you the name of the company as it is replaced in posts, as you can see above, and I'm not going to circumvent the substitution and risk a ban. I'm sure someone from 'contact admin' will be along soon though.
*I am not, never have been, or intend to be a salesperson, and have no affiliation or contract with contact admin - that said, if they want to bung me a load of dosh, or buy a years supply of beer (or both) for having mentioned them and their product, I would of course not object in any way.

You should have a look at Michael Dag's MQ Document and/or MQ Architect solutions. It's all about documenting (pretty pictures) of a company's MQ environment.

I am not sure exactly what you are looking for but MO71 has a concept called Application Monitoring which can display a pictorial representation of some or all of your MQ estate. You can read a blog about it here https://mqgem.wordpress.com/2015/09/08/mo71-application-monitoring/
You can choose which applications and/or queues are shown in the diagram and move the positions of each item to wherever you want. You can configure MO71 to raise an alert if, for example, application A is not running or it has less than 5 connections etc. It will also keep track of the last time an application ran or the last time a queue was seen in use. This can be useful to work out who might have been using a particular resource like a backout queue.
