Is there a way to use microseconds with DFDL. I see that DFDL does not support yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm:ss.SSSSSS with the "SSSSSS" at the end . As per DFDL ,last three "SSS" will be replaced by 0.

Please specify whether you are using DFDL for parsing or writing your data. Also, if you make claims like 'DFDL does not support...' then you should cite your source.

I don't know of any workarounds for this restriction.

No, not with ace11, but there is at least one work-around, to use xs:string with DFDL, and use microseconds with ESQL timestamps.

DFDL itself supports it:

Quote:
Any number of fractional seconds "S" may by specified in the pattern and accepted by implementations, but an implementation is free to represent a limited number of fractional seconds internally. Excess fractional seconds are truncated, not rounded up. At least millisecond accuracy must be implemented.

But specific implementations might not:

Quote:
Fractional second digits are supported to millisecond accuracy.

An RFE could persuade IBM to support increased xs:dateTime precision in future implementations.
