Hello all.

We are currently facing connectivity issue between Distribute to Mainframe queue manager.
Both Distributed and Mainframe queue manager on running Version 9.1.
We have created one sender channel from Distribute queue manager toward Mainframe queue manager. We have configured SSLCIPH as "ECDHE_RSA_AES_128_GCM_SHA256" on both sender and receiver channels.
When we try to start the channel, We are getting below error in our logs.
On Distributed Side.
AMQ9209E: Connection to host 'svipa-XXXX (xxx.xx.x.xx)(xxxx)' for channel.

While on Mainframe side, we are seeing below error.
+CSQX053E < CSQXFFST Error information recorded in CSQSNAP data set
+CSQX207E <CSQXRESP Invalid data received, 910
connection XXXXXX (XX.XXX.XXX.XXX)
(queue manager ????)
TRPTYPE=TCP
+CSQX504E < CSQXRESP Local protocol error, 911
channel
type=0000000B data=00000000

When we remove the SSLCIPH, the channel is running fine, but with SSLCIPH we are getting error.

Can you please help us on the same

Thanks
Mukul

Questions:

1. What platform is the distributed queue manager?
2. What's in the logs of the distributed queue manager?

I see you are using a VIPA address. Is this a QSG? Is the SSLCIPH configured on the channel on all queue managers?

What is the data shown as having been received in the CSQSNAP dump on the CHINIT job? Remember to scroll right to see the whole width.

Cheers,
Morag
