Thx for the response. I should rephrase my question as I do not want to use Message Sets in Version 10 but rather Message Models.
Is there a way to view an xsd / Message Model, specifically describing XML data, to display similar to how a Message Set was displayed in Version 7 or similar to how a CSV Model is displayed in Version 10 when using the DFDL Editor.
CSV xsd using DFDL View will show as:

It's easy to follow the structure and view the min/max occurs etc.

| hi...so you want the DFDL editor to look like the Message set editor, don't think that is possible. May be if you raise an RFE and highlight the issues IBM might improve it in future editions. |

You don't need a message set or a DFDL schema. You just need an XSD. |

What I need to know is how can a normal xsd display in a similar graphical view format as to how a DFDL xsd display when you open it?
Is my description of my problem not clear? Please let me know so that I can try and rephrase.

Hi, No. The DFDL editor looks great. But it's used for an dfdl related xsd. So what I'm asking is if there is a similar view for non dfdl realted xsd's

The XSD editor in Eclipse has a pretty good graphical view. Not quite as friendly as the DFDL editor, but it's quite usable.
If you're prepared to look further afield there are plenty of graphical tools for editing XSDs. |
