Please advise if anyone has deployed MQ Service Capability in the cloud (containers or kubernetes). platform. Have there been any issues encountered on performance or message losses even after using persistent volumes ?

IBM offers a variety of cloud deployments. Search Google for 'IBM MQ cloud'.

We are in the process of doing this with our queue managers (and IIB).

We used this Github repo provided by IBM for containerizing MQ as a starting point:

https://github.com/ibm-messaging/mq-container

We're running in our K8 test cluster and haven't seen any issues with it so far. Still tweaking the configurations though so we're not ready to move out of test yet.

We are planning to deploy WebSphere MQSeries on AWS to provide High Availability.

If I have to use any one of these capabilities on AWS will it work ?

1. Multi-instance queue manager, which is an active-standby pair, using a shared, networked filesystem.
2. Replicated data queue manager, which replicates data under control of MQ
3. Single resilient queue manager, which offers a simple approach for HA in the cloud, using networked storage. - Not Applicable as this feature is only for Linux

Have there been any issues encountered on performance or message losses even after using persistent volumes on Cloud platform.

I have to configure minimum two qmgrs on AWS, will it work and if yes how it will behave?

Not able to get much content from IBM website.

Really? What have you found in your research?

nikigupta,
There is a "IBM MQ in containers" section of the Knowledge Center. Here is the direct link:
