Hi All,
Greetings Today! can any one point me to step by step guide to install & configure MultiInstance Qmgr on windows and shared CISF Azure Samba file system. while i tried to create multi instance QMGR i am getting below error.

C:\windows\system32>crtmqm -sax -u SYSTEM.DEAD.LETTER.QUEUE -ld \\zucndmssaimq01.file.core.windows.net\log -md \\zucndmssaimq01.file.core.windows.net\qmgrs QMSRI

AMQ6239E: Permission denied attempting to access filesystem location
'\\zucndmssaimq01.file.core.windows.net\qmgrs'.

I am i missing something, I went through infocenter, I am not understading the part adding mqm group to Domain controller golbal group and how to test shared file system assessability through MQ service on windows, like " amqfsck" utility on linux.
If any one have step by step guide pls forward me.

Thank you.

I thought the outcome of your previous thread on this subject was that the file system couldn't support the requirements of the multi-instance queue manager?

Hi Vitor,

The out come from previous thread is" it's not supported for Linux ", we are planning to implement this in Windows server.

IBM PMR team confirmed it's not supported for linux but, it will work for windows.

I am not sure if fallowed right configuration set up for windows. I am trying my luck here if any one made attempt.

Thank you.

The Knowledge Centre (within which it admittedly can be a nightmare to find the correct nugget of information) contains the following Windows-specific information:

Configuring Windows accounts

Windows domains and multi-instance queue managers

Get your Windows Admins involved too because you'll need them to do a lot of the preparatory work.

There is a tool called "amqmfsck" to check, if a FS is supported. This tool has several options and has to be started on both servers in parallel.

Read he Knowledge Center for more Details.
