Hi All,

We have configured a multi-instance setup in AWS by leveraging AWS EFS. Below command was used to mount the EFS onto the EC2-Instances.

/usr/bin/mount -t nfs4 -o nfsvers=4.1,rsize=1048576,wsize=1048576,intr,hard,timeo=600,retrans=2,noresvport fs-XYZABC.amazonaws.com:/ /mqha

In addition we are also adding the below entry in the /etc/fstab.

XYZABC.amazonaws.com:/ /mqha nfs4 defaults,_netdev 0 0">>/etc/fstab

All the amqmfsck tests are passing apart from the last Integrity test (amqmfsck -a /shared/qmdata forllowd by amqmfsck -i /shared/qmdata).

When we force a failure(restart the server) on the server where this command - "amqmfsck -a /shared/qmdata" was issued first, the other server gives following message

File lock acquired.
Reading test file checking the integrity of the data read.
Appending data into the test file after data already found.

and then it hangs. I waited for close to 1 hour and still the command did not run to completion. Is there any further configurations on AWS needed for EFS. ??

Regards
