Hi,
We are planning to migrate from IIB10 to ACE11. I am going through the migration help document.
In Help it is mentioned that we need to migrate all the development resources and regenerate the bar file.
1) "You cannot share the development resources with previous versions of the IBM Integration Toolkit"
2) "You cannot deploy resources from IBM App Connect Enterprise Toolkit Version 11.0 to integration nodes at a previous version to Version 11.0."

Help also says
"Message flow projects are replaced by integration projects in IBM Integration Bus Version 9.0 and later. When you import message flow projects into the IBM App Connect Enterprise Toolkit, they are converted automatically to integration projects. You cannot create a message flow project in IBM App Connect Enterprise Toolkit."

Didn't it changed message flow project to integration application when it got migrated from Message Broker 7.0 to IIB10? Do we still need to migrate development resources as well as bar files?
Also, I tried to import and deploy IIB10 application without migrating it to ACE11 and it worked fine.
Can we use IIB development resources and bar files in ACE11 without migrating it?

Any suggestion?

Yes, and now it's changed again. Previous versions allowed message flow projects; ACE does not.

You need to migrate development resources more than you need to migrate bar files.

If by "import" you mean you imported it into the ACE11 tooling then you implicitly migrated it. The fact that you didn't edit it doesn't mean the tool didn't handle it differently. If you mean something else, please expand on your point.

You can import any workspace from IIBv10 tooling into ACEv11 tooling and this will implicitly migrate it. You can deploy any bar file created using the IIBv10 tooling to an ACE runtime. You cannot import any ACE workspace (even if it was originally created in IIB) into the IIB tooling. You cannot deploy a bar file created by ACE into an IIB runtime.
