Hello,

Can anyone give some ideas about setting up blue green deployment patterns for MQ with minimal configuration changes ?

Our current env is setup like this

app 1 --> QMA --> QMB/QMC --> app2

so everytime, we deploy new release for app1, we update transmission queues of qremotes on QMA so that they could send either to QMB or QMC.

Is there a better approach instead of us updating qremote everytime ?

Thank you.

Cluster the target queue managers. Suspend whichever queue managers support the non-active color.

Yes, use MQ clustering. An alternative approach is to 'put disable' the relevant app2 local queues on the non-active.
