We are using IIB v10.0.0.9 and have also enabled event monitoring at different nodes which is getting logged in DB2 database.

The logs gets recorded in database with timestamp in UTC timezone by default. System timestamp is already changed to required timezone but that doesn't help with logging timestamp change.

Is there any configuration at Integration Node level or elsewhere to change/edit/update event timestamp for the logs that are being recorded?

Thanks.

Timestamps should always be recorded in UTC. A different time zone is only relevant on output...

True that. But we are exploring the possibilities of changing the timezone to one particular timezone since server time is configured to reflect that timezone.

Meaningless as the event may not occur in the timezone of the server or even on the server...
Dangerous if the server changes time for summer / winter time.
Record in UTC. Display in whatever TZ you like.

There's a very good reason Unix systems have settings to hold the local time zone. I've lost count of the number of monitoring & application systems I've seen fail over the years because one system sent data from an hour in the future or a message took an hour to arrive because the sys admins forgot a server when they made the summer/winter change.

Use UTC as a time for everything. If it's important to know when in local terms things happened, use that ISO 85whatever-it-is format with the offset at the end:

Code:

2018-04-05T13:23:03Z-5:00

or something like that I should look up but that time is 8:23 EST and I'm only on 3
