Guys,

To mitigate this and separate these messages from others, i am planning to create another xmitq which this channel can use, so that whenever a message arrives on this new xmitq, i will know its a cluster information message and can put on script to purge it.

Can this be done for auto defined cluster sender channel ? I dont want to define defclxq on qmgr, but want to create a new xmitq with clchname attribute for this auto defined cluster sender channel

May sound crazy, but yes, need your opinion on this.

Depends on what version of MQ you are using.

Also sommetimes "I don't want to" is put aside for "I need to".

Its crazy

IBM MQ is typically very good about NOT creating frivolous messages. If they could just be deleted automatically via script, probably they wouldn't have been created in the first place.

This is possibly very dangerous. If you report any MQ Cluster issues to the vendor, they may not provide support.

Its better to properly deal with the underlying issue, even if it is a bit painful.
