Hello,

In IAM3 we have the log4j node. After installing everything (on Windows 7 enterprise, IIB 10) you drop the log4j node on the palette.

Now if I provide an absolute path to the log4j config file everything works fine. I get my log output.

However I would prefer not using absolute paths for various reasons. I have tried to put the brokerlog.xml (containing the log4j config) and the dtd file in the shared-classes folder and in the IIB Node folder and restarting the node. However there is no log output.

Has anyone got this to work without referring to the absolute path of the config file?

we do not use the log4j node rather we call the java api of the plugin to log to file. then we use UDP to point to the log.xml
