Hi,
My flow receives inputs from a HTTP client, for different operations (or methods). I need to further process them to a MQ output queue in a different format.
Requirement is to configure different timeout values for each operation or method, based on the level of complexity defined for each operation.

That is, I need to write ESQL code (IIB v10), to override the "Maximum client wait time" threshold value during run time. Is there any way to do it?

I have gone through many links in google, and could not find such thing for HTTP Input node (rather found for HTTP/SOAP request nodes to change timeouts).

There is a Java function ChangeIdentifierTimeout to override the value. But is there any way to do it in ESQL?

Thank you!

Do you mean that you need different timeout values for the incoming HTTP request, based on the request message?

Or different timeout values for the post to MQ?

Are you sure that ChangeIdentifireTimeout does what you want?

There's no reason you can't call Java from ESQL.

You can also consider https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/websphere/library/techarticles/0603_schutz/0603_schutz.html

Thanks Jeff!

I meant different timeout values for the incoming requests. Since, requester (client) does not send those, I would like to change timeout threshold as soon as the request arrives.

Yes, ChangeIdentifierTimeout changes the default timeout value, to a different numeric value.

I will try out the Java call.
