Trying to use the new REST Request Node in version 10.0.0.7, however, I am unable to get around our proxy server.

The REST Request Node has an HTTP(S) Setting for HTTP(S) proxy location that takes in a proxy server name and port number.

There does not appear to be a way to enter credentials for the proxy server.

The 'Basic' properties contains a text box for 'Security Identity'. This appears to be credentials for the REST Request not the proxy.

Is there a way around this other than using the HTTP Request Node ? Will this be a feature in future releases ?

Have you tried adding a compute node prior to the RESTRequest node to set the ProxyConnectHeaders with the proxy credentials?

I expect you could use the same as documented for HTTPRequest

Use OutputLocalEnvironment.Destination.HTTP.ProxyConnectHeaders for HTTPS destinations, or OutputRoot.HTTPRequestHeader for HTTP.

Hi,

Just to come back with an update on this one now that IIB 10.0.0.9 is out.

You can now simply provide the username and password required for a secure HTTP proxy using the "mqsisetdbparms" command see Routing requests through an HTTP proxy server that has authentication enabled

This has been enabled for RESTRequest as well as other request nodes and the likes of the Salesforce node and Bluemix Product Insights connection.
