Hi everybody,
I am sorry if I am asking this question in a wrong place or if it is too basic.
I have a very simple flow which gets an XML message from a queue and puts the message with a custom wire format in another queue for a CICS transaction to use.
I use the "Reset Content Descriptor" node to convert the XML message to the custom wire format. The message includes a boolean filed that is recognized as a character filed(IsConfirmed:CHARACTER:true) when getting message from the queue.
The problem is that the "Reset Content Descriptor" node fails when it tries to convert the boolean field to the custom wire format. The node throws BIP5170(CWF invalid boolean value).
I also tried to cast the filed to boolean before it is processed by the RCD node(IsConfirmed:BOOLEAN:true). But the same exception was thrown.
You must explicitly define the true and false values for the CWF boolean field.
Have fun
I am using WMB 7 and as I know there is just one place to set CWF properties. That is *.mset -> Custom Wire Formats -> MyCWF -> "Binary representation of boolean values".
The boolean field has logical and physical properties that non of them include somewhere to define the true and false values. Could you please explain me where to explicitly define the values?
