Is it possible to create an XML file by taking data from multiple tables using ESQL?
In this case the data should be retrieved from 8 different tables in order to build the XML.
I never came across where WMB is used to create XML from multiple database tables.
In this case I am thinking of using a database stored procedure or WMB java compute node.

Of course it is possible to do this using ESQL.
A stored procedure or a PASSTHRU with the select + joins will give the results.
Taking the resulting Data and creating a Message Tree and thus an XML Message is perfect for IIB and ESQL.
It might be better to use a Mapping node if more appropriate. _________________ WMQ User since 1999

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions.
