We commonly get these AMQ9469 messages, and there is no obvious reason why they are happening. There is no connectivity issues between the PRs and FRs. I suspect this is a false positive in the MQ code being reported here. We currently have a PMR open for another similar occurrence of these types of messages on z/OS.

I would also warn about doing a REFRESH CLUSTER on a PR to try and clear these messages. We did that a little while back with disasterous results. The PR lost information about queues that did exist and then would return inconsistent results on opens of these existing clustered queues. Sometimes they would be successful, sometimes they would fail with a 2085 for the same queue. We had to do a REFRESH CLUSTER on the FR to fix this issue. The FR was showing that the queues did exist before running this REFRESH CLUSTER command.

To be defensive, I have written a program that can record all the cluster queues on a PR, and then run and report the results of opening these queues after running a REFRESH CLUSTER on the PR, as a basic sanity/consistency check.

bkiran2020 - Assuming there is not something obviously wrong with your cluster like the PRs can not talk to the FRs or vice versa, I was curious if you are seeing the follow scenario for the AMQ9469 messages.

1) Is it happening for a clustered queue that exists in two or more different clusters?
2) If so for #1, is one of the clusterd queue definitions a qalias?

Please post the entire error from AMQERR01.LOG.

Also, please do a Display Channel and Display Chstatus on both sending and receiving ends of the channel. Post results.
