Many times in the past I have used an SSL configuration in WAS to secure a connection to MQ on a remote queue manager.

I now have a requirement to connect to WebSphere ESB using a default messaging provider.

I can set the InboundSecureMessaging property on the QCF transport chain, but I was hoping to set up a secure key exchange and mutual authentication in the same way that I can with MQ.

I have a keystore and a trust store ready for each end, but the default messaging provider doesn't seem to have the facility to link to an SSL configuration.

I've been reading redbooks (with many broken links into DeveloperWorks) for ESB, but most of those just talk superficially about HTTPS for WSDL calls.

I have also done an STW for this kind of thing, and most hits talk about the MQ client classes.

If you've done this before, please point me at a particular redbook or document or give outline guidance (like perhaps presenting ESB like an MQ QMGR like one can with SIB perhaps?)
Any crumb of secure comfort gratefully accepted.
Pete

SiBus security is different and channel security is different

Channel security you can set it up exactly like how the queue manager to queue manager way. (In the Foreign Bus Connections )
