Hello,

I am looking for installation and administration best practice document or link or tech notes for Message Broker and MQ. I tried to look through but could not get tips as we get for development or design.

and if i remember well on the Mq support packs site there are
a good number of documents on the Broker .

What they may not mention, is that now you can direct where (what directory/file system) you create the Qmgr and Broker.

I would always put them somewhere unique and not the default. That way, if you need to move them or make them HA, it is no big deal.

/<CompanyStockSymbol>/ibm/mqm/<QmgrName>/data
/<CompanyStockSymbol>/ibm/mqm/<QmgrName>/log

and you can put the broker under data if you like.
