Maybe I missed something in my searches. I don't see SupportPac MA0Z
on the IBM site. Is this withdrawn? Wanted to continue to use it in v8. Thanks for any info.

The author should be by shortly. Or visit his website http://home.pacific.net.au/~gnb/

Moved to General forum. No reason to hide in mainframe stuff.

Hi, I am the author of MA0Z. It was withdrawn by IBM a few years ago. I longer work for IBM and no one else is supporting it. If you can obtain a copy, it might work OK on your platform, but don't raise a service request with IBM if it fails. I doubt that IBM has any plans to update it.
Glenn.

Thanks Glenn....I'd like to get a copy of the source code and just maintain it from release to release. It works on ZOS v8. Can you send me a copy or should I try IBM?

It looks like you can still get the (last updated) package at
ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/software/integration/support/supportpacs/individual/

Whether that contained the source or not is a separate question.

The source code, makefiles and documentation is owned by IBM, not me. You can try approaching IBM. Even if you are an IBM employee it is not likely that it will be resurrected.

It's entirely possible that the source doesn't exist any more, depending on where Glenn kept it when he was an IBM employee.

It was handed over to IBM SupportPacs management when I left.

So it's possible it's still buried somewhere, and could perhaps be released to git-hub.

Hi there,

maybe I'm missing something but I can't download from that link.

Is it possible to provide a username and password for that ftp?

Thank you very much in advance.

I'm sorry, but there's a very long line of others damning IE before it's your turn.
