We noted that (user supplied) transfer metadata is accessible to started processes (predst, postdst, etc) as environment variables named as the metadata name. We cannot find any documentation on this and want to know if this is something that is 1) reliable and 2) going to remain this way through subsequent releases.

Hi sjgray8,

I would suggest you raise a PMR against the MFT product so that you can get an official answer from IBM Support. It could just be an oversight on the part of the KC as to why that behaviour is not documented.

Thx, we did. They confirmed the behavior and said it would almost certainly not change, but recommended we open an RFE which we did.
