Hi All,
We have a windows server from which we are putting message to MQ 7.5 Queue manager (AIX server) via rfhutil The user id in windows is XYZ . on the AIX queue manager, we have provided MCAUSER as XYZ for the SVRCONN channel. We are getting 2035 error when we are trying to put any message. When we check the logs, we see that the user id is coming in small caps ´xyz´.
Could anyone please suggest what needs to be done to fix this?
The convention on for UNIX based systems is to have userids in lower case, but bearing in mind you are using MQ V7.5 you can use a CHLAUTH rule to map a user to whatever you need.
For example: Windows userid = sApplicationUserID01_thisisjusttodemonstrateanunfeasiblylongusername would map to sapusr01 on UNIX _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys.
