Hi,
I wanted to create some JMS Queues.
I am following the AddressSample in IIB.
I forgot to edit the definition file , AddressBookSample.defs.
First time when I executed
JMSAdmin < "D:\Work-space\AddressBook\AddressBookSample.defs"
The command executed successfully.
But I could not see the objects created under the Queue Manager.
Then I realised and edited the definition file, and edited the port number of Queue Manager.
Now when I run , JMSAdmin -v < "D:\Work-space\AddressBook\AddressBookSample.defs", I get
InitCtx>
InitCtx> Unable to bind object

javax.naming.NameAlreadyBoundException: JMSBACKOUTQ

InitCtx>

I executed IVTSETUP as well. After that I again attempted to run the JMSAdmin command but got the same error as above.
How do I clear the previous objects that were created before and create the fresh queues ? I can't see the JMS Queues in MQ Explorer.

Use the relevant commands to delete them?

Delete the relevant defs file and create a new one?

And remember defining the queues in JMSAdmin does not create them. It acts as a binding between the JMS definition and the real queue. So you still have to create the real queues or queue manager objects.

Preference is to use the file context...

Have fun
