Hi, We are using MQ library version 5.3 and I want to know what all are the different version released before and after it sequentially. I know latest is 8.0.02 but we are not using it now. Is there any link provided by IBM which shows different MQ libraries version released by date.

It is not really going to make things easier to go from v5.3 to v6 to v6.1 to v7 to v 7.1 to v7.5 to v8.

Better to jump into the deep end of the pool then tiptoe through the tulips.

Shorter, and more reliable and less expensive to test.

What could be the challenges in upgrading the MQ client libraries from version 5.3 to ver 8.0.0.2

Lots.

Fortunately, there's a serious of migration guides in each part of the Knowledge Center for each version.
