Dear All,
We are assign MCAUSER on receiving channel and grant appropriate authoirty right to the MCAUSER on the queue for security control. However, we would like to know whether MCAUSER is still useful in a MQ clustering environment. I think that there is IGQUSER. Is it userful? Do we have to register the IGQUSER or MCAUSER on the ESM of the LPAR that host the repository queue manager?

Errr. I don't know about IGQUSER, but putting an ID in MCAUSER makes that channel wide open. NO security. Everyone who connects via that channel gets the authority of the MCAUSER, not matter who they are. Unless that ID is a bogus one and you use Security Exits to really authenticate.
