Is there any way IIB can send an alert or notification if a particular flow is down/stopped.
There's no built in hooks to monitoring software, but IIB can report that a flow has stopped and that can be picked up by monitoring software that can alert or notify as needed.
Of course, that monitoring software should actually be monitoring (the clue is in the name), detect that the flow has a problem and send the alert or notification without needing to be explicitly told that there's a problem by IIB itself.
The other issue with sending a notification if a flow is down or stopped is that by the time the alert or notification has got to it's intended receipient, the flow will have been automatically restarted. Unless you've deliberately told IIB (rather than WMB) not to do this. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
