Yes... if you type:

saveqmgrc.linux -?

It gives you the parameters for connecting as a client to the zLinux qmgr...

I wanted to take a backup of MQ Objects so that I could have the mqsc scripts in the backup file, when it is created.

The current version of MQ running in unix box 6.0.1.0.

Name: WebSphere MQ
Version: 6.0.1.0
CMVC level: p600-100-051021
BuildType: IKAP - (Production)
xcube@ip-10-0-0-136:/tmp>

Inorder to take backup , we should have MS03 SupportPac to execute the command, saveqmgr.
I downloaded MS03 for Unix from IBM and followed the instruction given in http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg24000673 to install MS03 pack.
I did all those, but getting stuck in running makefile.linux.
I am getting gcc not found.
Check my post http://www.mqseries.net/phpBB/viewtopic.php?p=385757#385757.
If you have any updates please share with me .

You see how specsri 's post is marked "2006" ?

I would be shocked if he or she responded.

You have already restarted one very old thread. You shouldn't have restarted this one, too.
