Am using DFDL to parse message with comma as delimeter..offlate find that the some fields has comma between the data...which is causing problem

i tried using End Of Parent option in Length Kind but getting error saying implementation is not supported though am using IIB 9.0.0.1 version

is there any other way resolve issue except changing delimeter type

Help needed...Thanks

So, forgetting DFDL for a moment, how does your data model in the sense of the piece of paper on your desk distinguish between a comma in data and a comma as a delimiter?

Determining that, how would you express that to DFDL?

You will need to describe your data format in a lot more detail. Remember, we cannot see your screen, and we have never seen your data format. An example ( of good data and bad data ) would be really useful.

Was there a particular reason why you chose 'End of parent' as the length kind? 'Delimited' would probably be a better choice.

I assume that you are using the 'Test Parse' feature in the DFDL Editor? If not, then you should. And the 'DFDL Trace' is often quite helpful when things go wrong.
