Hi,

I have been doing a exhaustive search to find a proper C/C++ code sample to find the channel related attributes like current status, number of connections , last message and so on using PCF. Have searched every link in mqseries.net that has the name PCF and the Google without any proper success. There are some Java code sample but I'm interested in c++ here.

Can anyone pin point some directions for me to find sample code set to find channel related attributes ?

There's a difference between Channel attributes and Channel Status attributes.

There may or may not be a specific code example that shows retrieving Channel Status.

However, Inquire Channel Status is "just another PCF message", so if you have sample code to build one PCF message, you can build an Inquire Channel Status message.

The knowledge center shows the fields that are required for an Inquire Channel Status message and the additional optional fields you can specify. It then also shows you what the Inquire Channel Status Response message looks like.
