We run ITM mq agents on an aix/linux enviroment

Each night the various mystical components of middleware go down and restart for various overnight processes

In the morning we have to restart these agents with by login to the box and issue
itmcmd agent -o instance_name stop mq

Is there a way of doing this automatticaly ?

Sure there is and it is called cron after the god chronos in Greek time...

I need to start the ITM when the process is down ...I guess cron job is for restart the ITM agent at scheduled time..

Could you please suggest on it.

Well what kind of script have you devised to run instead of what you are running now to shutdown and restart the agents???
