I am working on Implementing a cache in my project. I am assessing cache node for the same (WMB 8.0) -
Is it must to use JDBC connection to use cache node ? using DSN will suffice ?. IS there a better approach to use to implement caching.

Which cache node is this?

I would consider looking up the Global Cache in the product information center:
