Hi,

Iam having an issue , where the port 7800 of broker execution group becomes inaccessible for small duration, during that time lot of abend files are seen on passive side Broker error logs. Also abend file is shown on active server.

Broker version is 8.0.0.1.

Is this in any way regular or predictable? (I'm wondering if you'll be able to capture some trace?)

When you say inaccessible, what error are you getting on the client? Host not found or similar?

Error we are getting is " There is no endpoint listening on port , that could accept the message. This is often caused by an incorrect address or SOAP action."

Hmm, seems hard to diagnose without your environment. I certainly haven't heard of an issue like this before. Some other member of the community may have seen something like this before, but failing that I'd consider raising a PMR.

Isn't that to be expected during the time it takes for the failover instance to start up? Is the broker started through an MQ service?

Look at the object definitions in the underlying Queue Manager perhaps?

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions.
