Hi all,

I have a full repository Queue Manager QM1 and two clustered queue managers QM2 and QM3. The gateway queue manager is QM1. While trying to put messages from another Queue Manager which is outside the cluster to the cluster queues which hosted by QM2 and QM3 what set up is requred in the sending as well as receiving side? DO we need Qmanager Alias for this. Please help. In our case the messages are going to the dead letter queues of the sending side. This was working fine when the sending side is a JMS client instead of MQ server.

Thanks

You have f.x QM9 as the sending QMGR which is connected to QM1 using a normal sender/receiver channel set, right ??

On which DLQ are the messages stuck ? QM9 ??

Working demonstation of such a configuration a while ago, you can take a look on it:

I hope it can help you too.

Just my $0.02

You need remote queue definitions on the non-clustered qmgrs specifying your gateway queue manager alias as the remote queue manager name, with the remote q name and transmission q as normal.
On the gateway you should define the qmgr alias to allow this gateway to advertise itself as such. This is just a remote q definition with a blank remote q, qmgr and xmitq - as descibed in the link already given.

Cheers.
