Hi

I have copied the SampleEndExit sample and managed to implement it on my agent.. Somehow it only shows me successful transfers. How can I get it to display Errors too or if there was an incomplete transfer. I have two problems.


1. My exit doesn't write errors to the log
2. I have am sftp transfer which keeps coming up as partial successful.. Looking at MQ explorer it looks like the SOurce agent was unable to delete the file.. so when the next transfer comes the file is transferred again and again.. How can I avoid this from happening.. I need to report if the transfer was failed.. The source Agent runs on Windows DMZ... SO I am assuming there are no file locks.

you may not have delete authorization for the file...

Hi

Yes I am sure that's the problem.. If we get this when the source agent is Unix we can go and fix the file permission. But how do we check file permissions on windows.. The biggest problem is I have read access, so I keep reading the same file over and over.

Has anyone managed to get Error messages to display on the log file?

Hi

System.out.println("Transfer completed ." + thisFileSpec.getExitResult().getResultCode() + thisFileSpec.getExitResult().getExplanation());

Now I can catch errors.......
