Hi All,

I'm looking for the available updates(Uxxxx..values),for the WMQ fixpack 7.5.0.2. Can somebody plz help me in knowing the link where I can get those..I require this while setting up a script for automating the 7.5.0.2 MQ installations on Linux.


example: MQSeriesGSKit-U200357-7.5.0-1.x86_64.rpm

You should be able to find which WMQ rpm's have been installed using 'yum list'.

Then what you need to do IMHO is to unpack the fixpack and then delete all the .rpm files that you don't need. For example unused language packs or unlicensed components such as FTE.

Then it is a simple matter of doing a

Code:

service WMQ stop (or whatever you have called it)
yum update *.rpm
service WMQ start

If you have setup WMQ to start using the rc.* script methods as I would recommend on Linux.
