Has anyone out there written a Channel Auto Definition Exit?

I have an issue whereby we use in-house written exits on our channels. We want to implement clustering for one particular customer, however, as I understand it the auto-defined CLUSSDR chls will pick up their details from the CLUSRCVR chl definition broadcast to the cluster. This gives me an issue as the cluster spans different platforms (OS390 and AIX) and the security exit name is different, i.e. module name on OS390 and /path/dll name on AIX. The way round it, apparently, is to write a CHAD exit but the manuals aren't exactly brimming with information on this topic!
