Situation: two qmanagers in cluster, both has repository and channels to each other.

There is no troubles if you send messages <4MB.
If you try to send message withour changing standard parameters on qmanager objects yoiu have to set allow segmentation option for message. But .... besides the message is putted to SYSTEM.CLUSTER.TRANSMIT.QUEUE is never send and there is no messages in logs.

Is anyone resolve this problem?

Leonid situation is described like this:

1) There are 2 Qmanagers, both with repository, named C1 and C2
2) there is local queue shared named A2 in cluster on C1, MAXMSGL(A2)=40MB
3) I connect to C2 and try to open object (queue) with "bind on open" option; ObjectName="A2"; ObjectQmgrName="C1"
4) I put 8MB message to this opened object with segmentation allowed option.
5) Message is putted to SYSTEM.CLUSTER.TRANSMIT.QUEUE (if there is no segmentation allowed flag set, the MQPUT is finnished with error), but it is not segmented, so it cannot be send to C1 because channel to C1 has MAXMSGL=4MB.

My question is why the message is not segmented.

I suggest to focus on the problem. Did you try to send a big message without clustering ?
Did you try to send a small message with clustering ?
Check it out if the both succeed.

Known problem, IC35272.

For 5.2(.1) get CSD07, when IBM release it. For 5.3 get CSD03.

Cheers,

Hello Eddie,

thanks you're right 5.3 version with CSD03 works. Because my client want to use now, is any way how I cen get CDO07 for 5.2 and 5.2.1 before IBM release it?
Maybe you have on in your private library?

Thanks for help
Tom

You should be able to ask IBM for the fix for IC35272 separately from having to wait for CSD07.
