Hello, I am storing infor into the usr folder of the MQRFH2 header of a message exiting MQSI. I store this info via ESQL. The message is destined to a WebSphere server, however, when the Java application retrieves the message the usr folder is blank.

I would appreciate any suggestions.

Thanks,
Paul Megani

Is it actually created in the message?

Use RFHUTIL from support pac IH03 (or is it IC03 I can never remember) to look at the message.

Sometimes RFH2 folders can erroneously be created as message data and not headers because you did not create the message tree elements in the correct sequence.

You must generate the MQMD first, then MQRFH2 then the message data. Use a trace node (or the debugger) to check that you have.
