I am using MFT 7.0.4.1, I configured the Protocol Bridge Agent and had successfully sent files to an external client using a username/certificate configuration. We sent a file successfully one night, then the next day I got the following error in the output0.log:
[05/12/2012 09:11:27:958 EST] 0000001e TransferFrame E BFGTR0029E: A recoverable I/O error has occurred during a write. The agent will attempt to recover the file transfer. The error message is : BFGBR0104E: Bridge agent failed to connect to host XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX with credentials of USERNAME because Algorithm negotiation fail
After talking with the customer he notified me that they were mandated to elimanate all their ciphers from their outward facing SFTP servers except aes128_ctr, aes192_ctr, and aes256_ctr.
After researching I found that the protocol bridge agent does not allow "Explicit selection of the cipher suites available to the SSL negotiation phase of establishing a session."
My question is what cipher suite does the MFT Protocol Bridge Agent use?
I have a PMR submitted just curious if anyone else has run into this issue.
