Hi,

We have an client application which can put and get messages from local Q.
The local queues are present in qmgr say QM3.
QM3 and QM1 are in cluster CL2.
QM2 and QM1 are in cluster CL1.

When the message arrives on the local queue in QM3, how do we pass on to the local queue in QM2, so that broker can pick the messages from the local queue in QM2, i.e broker is associated with queue mgr QM2.

Could anyone help on this

Thanks

You are asking the wrong question.

Ask, instead, why is there a qlocal on QM3?

I tried the way given in the infoxenter to hop the msgs over the cluster. But the application connected to QM3 can only pick and put msgs from and to local queue.. Hence local queues on QM3..[/img]

Post the link you're following.

Then read it again and follow it properly. Because I echo @mqjeff's question. If you're trying to bridge CL1 & Cl2 (i.e. hop the message) I don't see how you're going to do it as described.

Unless you have a lot of other "message hopping" infrastructure you've not bothered to mention.

The application on QM3 can only GET messages from qlocals.

It can PUT messages to any kind of queue at all.
